Brinckerhoff Elementary School

• School Opens: School arrival begins at 8:25 am. Attendance  will be taken and reported daily by  8:40 am.

All Buses depart at 3:25 pm

Parent Pick-Up- The dismissal location will be the gymnasium which is located on the side of the building closest to the playground. We ask that you follow the guidelines below to ensure a safe and smooth dismissal;

Always send in a note with your child if you are planning on picking up your child. In addition, if there is a change in your child’s dismissal plan, please send a note to the teacher.

o   If your child will follow a regular pick up schedule, you may request a green dismissal form instead of sending a note daily by emailing Theresa.Riccio@wcsdny.org.

Please arrive at the gym during your child’s dismissal time.

o   Kindergarten 3:10

o   Grades 1 & 2 3:13

o   Grade 3 & 4 3:16

o   Grade 5 & 6 3:20

*If you have more than one child, it would be best to arrive at the time of your oldest child so all your children are ready to dismiss.

Please park in an assigned parking spot. We have to be mindful of our neighbors and respect their property. Please do not park on lawns or block driveways.

Always bring a photo ID. You will be asked to present it every time you pick up your child.

Please line up at the correct dismissal door:

o   Last Names starting A-L @ Left Door

o   Last Names starting M-Z @ Right Door

         Once you have your child(ren), please exit the parking lots quickly and safely.

o    If you park in the lot at the gym doors, please exit using the driveway behind the school so you do not get stuck in the bus traffic.

• Student drop-off is on the side of the building by the gym. 
• Please have the children exit the car door by the sidewalk.  If you need to come into the building with your child please park in the parking lot next to the gym.
• Please do not block residential mailboxes on the street.
